One of the most requested items we get asked for from small builders and customers who like to make thru neck basses is, “can we supply perfectly machined thru neck sections for them to work with ?”. The answer to this question is yes. We can supply almost any combination of timbers, from standard Canadian rock maple, to sections that are multi laminated with timbers such as Wendge, Purple Heart, American Black Walnut, Ebony, Cherry, Puduak, and various Mahoganies. Add to this the possibility to add Ebony and/or Maple veneers between the stringer laminations, and end results are endless and visually stunning.
Our standard size for these thru neck sections are: 120mm wide by 50mm deep by 1200mm long. Other sizes can be ordered by request.The sections are machined and flat sanded to give perfectly square faces and edges.So if you considering making a thru neck bass, these sections are a great way to get started.
