From our trading address at Witham, Essex, not only do we offer the Purple Chili range of products, but a wide range of hand made basses, repairs, setups and upgrades with factory direct prices. We have, over the years, invested in woodworking technologies, machines and processes to aid our quality and standards. This situation is constantly ongoing, and as a company, we are totally aware of the exacting standards demanded by our customers, which in turn continually drives this reinvestment programme.
We are currently restructuring the range of basses we offer, dropping some of the old Zoot models and replacing them with new models which we believe are more in keeping with the demands of the modern and traditional bassist alike. The design brief for these basses was to produce a bass that would be a real crossover bass, meaning a bass that will inspire the player and excel at any style of bass playing with gusto. The testament to this is that some of the world's best bass players choose to use our "Hand Made" basses in the studio as well as live on stage. It is also interesting to note that all of these players pay for their instruments, as we have a "no give away" policy, which is unlike most of the major bass manufacturers. This situation also dictates that these players actually want to own and use one or more of our basses.
